The eastern canton of Switzerland, "Graubünden", is the only trilingual area and can almost be called a hot spot when it comes to enjoyable motorcycle tours. Here, sporty curve action won´t be neglected and some ambitious people will use lightweight “black gold” to optimize the total weight of man and machine.
The eastern part of Switzerland borders Austria in the north and Italy in the south. Worth mentioning is this memorable landmark - the Umbrail Pass, which merges directly into the challenging Stilfserjoch in Italy. In Graubünden, there is actually no need to switch to neighboring countries, since more than 50 (!) Passes are waiting to be conquered in this region.
It's not that easy for the pilot to keep the weight off the substantial but also really tasty cuisine in Switzerland. Our recommendation: Take plenty of walks. How about, for example, strolling through Chur, the oldest city in Switzerland?
