Our hosts
No-one knows better what is important on motorbike tours than our hosts who, with their ambition for quality and competence, have been the cornerstones of our vibrant motorbike culture from the start.
In our house, we share a passion and the chores. This is how we discovered our shared enthusiasm for motorcycling. Our motorbike guests therefore profit from double “advisory power“ today.

Our location, far away from the famous but overcrowded bike hotspots, is often treated as an insider tip. But our hotel is not hidden away at a secret location. On the contrary, my expert knowledge of our extensive gravel path network attracts friends of a sophisticated drift angle on a regular basis.

Christine is one of the MoHo founding members. It seems that she was and still is responsible for maintaining the quota of women within the group. But when it comes to bikes, she prefers proper mean machines. Josef loves his Yamaha 950 midnight and long bends.

We, my brother Stefan, my cousin Erwin and I, celebrate bike culture (with and without motor) in our hotel. Despite having our own fleet, we do not put high importance on the machine as such - it’s the lifestyle that we like.

We couldn’t imagine a hotel without motorbike guests. Here, at Schönauer Hof, is the motorbike at centre stage. We and our tour guides offer an unmatched range of guided tours of all levels of difficulties.

Whether the Erzberg mountain or the “Romanics“, my stomping ground is off road. My wife on the other hand is out and about on the road - alone and with our guests. So, it comes as no surprise that we met when motorcycling. A joy that‘s shared is a joy made double!

A real Zilltertal Valley local must be called Kröll and can ride a motorbike. Well, this is what I say :-)) We have so many beautiful mountains and countless curves at our front door - enough to share them with our guests, which we love to do of course!
to the host
As a good host, I have to be cruel to my guests from time to time. Especially when we set off at the crack of dawn for the Großglockner to experience an unforgettable sunrise. Afterwards, however, I am regularly forgiven.

Some people say that I take anything with a saddle. This might be because we have a stable full of horses next to our BMW test drive centre. Although: both have to do with horsepower. My sons definitely prefer horsepower on two wheels.

"Curves and Delight" is the motto my wife, Nadja, and I have chosen for our country hotel. This is exactly what we would like to offer our guests every day. So, on your motorbike and off to Altenmarkt.

I am on a successful mission convincing more and more bikers that high mountain summits are not a must for extensive curvy pleasure. The density of curvy labyrinths here on the Mühlviertel Alm is unsurpassable.

The name of our hotel translates to hunter’s lodge and has nothing to do with my hobby. Because it would have been called “Bikerhof“ (biker’s lodge) otherwise. Still, our guests enjoy all amenities of a real motorbike hotel. And the hunting we leave in the hands of the senior boss.
to the host
I am now a more leisurely biker, which suits me quite well. At least, this is what the others say… Our tour guide is always ready for anyone who prefers a racier pace on our guided tours.

With your home high up in the mountains directly at the Timmels Pass road and always a trial bike or motorbike in your garage, what else would you do but motorcycling. And as we have an amazing motorbike museum right at our doorstep, our guests have no other choice but to motorcycle too :-)
to the host
If you grow up directly on a pass road, you are literally injected with a passion for the motorbikes roaring by. It was clear to me from the beginning: if I took over the family business one day, the biker guests would be number 1 for me.

Here at the entrance to the Dolomites, biking is almost mandatory for local people. But what lies even closer to my heart is the ART of being a host. It is my purpose in life and brings pleasure not only to my motorcycling guests.

“Forza Italia” is my motto when it comes to motorbikes. I started with a yellow Vespa at the age of 14 and now have a Ducati Monster from which I “check that everything is in order” on the many Dolomite passes on our doorstep.
to the host
The joy of sharing my personal interest in motorbikes with our guests was motivation enough to accomplish the MoHo tour guide training. Thus, there is nothing in the way of joint tours here in the Allgäu and tri-border region.

The passion for two wheels is a tradition that has been passed down in our family for generations. Since childhood I have only dreamed of enjoying the roads on a motorcycle. Today this dream is a reality and I want to share it with our guests!
to the host
Although I love the mountain roads and passes in South Tyrol, my preferred biking territory is away from these paved roads. That’s why one of my biggest dreams is to drive through the Sahara on my motorbike one time. But it will take a while for this dream to come true.
to the host
Even though my knee injury forces me to drive the passes in the Dolomites and around Lake Garda on four wheels now, the two-wheel tradition in our hotel is still alive! The preferred means of transport of my son Andreas are trial & motocross bikes.

When I was young, I spent some time in America where a Harley was compulsory. But at home in Sulden, only 10 minutes away from the Stelvio Pass, I am better off with a Ducati Scrambler. My hobby: I not only dedicate my spare time to motorbikes but also own a Lancia Fulvia Berlina from 1971.

I have been driving motorbikes for over 20 years now, and I have been running a biker-friendly hotel since 2009. As passionate motorbike and Vespa driver, my hobby is explaining the tours to my guests. I am really happy when the bikers return in the evening and tell me about their successful tour.
to the host
Motorbikes have always played a role in my life since my childhood. The best role in fact, as I met my wife Sandra on one of the many motorbike trips to Italy! Now we welcome our biker guests together.
to the host
I inherited the passion for motorcycling from my father. I still have fond memories of my first excursions as a child, as a passenger on his Motoguzzi 500, at that time without a helmet and on roads that had barely been asphalted.
to the host
Detractors may say that the bike virus has not just affected me slightly but rather completely taken its hold on me. They might even be right when you look at the moped, cruiser and adventure bike in the garage :-). But what should I do? You need the right equipment for every purpose.
to the host
When your dad has 150 vintage cars and motorbikes in a museum in the hotel’s cellar, then no further explanation is needed. At least not when it comes to my passion for anything on wheels. It doesn’t matter how many wheels as long as it is fast.

I have been a fan of motorbiking since I was a small boy. Now, many years later, our Landhotel Neuhof is specialised in motor bikers. Is there anything more beautiful than a tour on curvy roads through the wonderful Bavarian landscape with a cold pint and a good meal in the beautiful, quiet beer garden afterwards and biker insider tips from the host?
to the host
I was fascinated by motorbikes as a child and my father also had one. I could hardly wait until I had my licence and was able to ride one. Now I can hardly wait for the next opportunity to take guests on a tour along the numerous Dolomite passes on our doorstep.

Willi and Willi Senior are motor bikers with conviction and passion. Their solid experience in tour planning and guiding has been appreciated by their guests for years. Coming initially to the Arlberg for skiing, their winter guests are now also visiting in the summer months when they explore the beautiful Vorarlberg mountain world and the neighbouring countries by motorbike.

If you grow up at a petrol station directly on the Silvretta Pass road and see several of your idols almost every day, it’s virtually inevitable that you will become a motorcyclist! Now I welcome my idols from back then to our hotel and my school friends have long been telling me that I have “petrol in my blood“.
to the host
As a lover of old motorcycles, I like to make casual day trips with my friends. This is the perfect balance to my everyday life as a restaurateur. For tour tips I am always happy to help.

If you're at home on the Tauplitzalm like Herbert, then you don't know any straight roads. The curves are simply in your blood. In the Styrian blood, which, as the saying goes, is no noodle soup. And still the last kilometers on the way home under the helmet conjure up a smile on his face, Herbert reveals to us, who holds up the flag for the "Green Heart of Austria" in the circle of his MoHo colleagues.

As a passionate motorcyclist, I enjoy combining my hobby with my job as managing director. For me, St. Jakob is the perfect home base, as I can start countless impressive motorbike tours from here.
to the host
Host Jens has been passionate about biking for more than 30 years and even worked as a riding instructor on two wheels for a few years.
to the host
Although my “biking heydays” are over, I’m still very passionate about motorbikes. Primarily because our region, the northern Friuli, is still a secret location for lovers of bends. Better than the Dolomites but without any traffic :-)
to the host
If there was a jab against the bike virus from Milwaukee/USA, I would refuse to have it! Although calling 3 motorbikes my own, it’s worth thinking about it. But then again, our garage is so big that there is plenty of space even for our guests’ bikes.
