Dein Gas(t)geber
Wie bei den meisten meiner Italienischen Kollegen war in jungen Jahren eine Vespa-Auslöser meiner motorisierten Zweirad-Leidenschaft. Seitdem, also seit über 20 Jahren, hat mich der Virus nicht mehr losgelassen!
Natürlich haben in der Zwischenzeit die Bikes gewechselt und mein Roller ist schon lange Geschichte. Aber vielleicht lege ich mir wieder einmal einen zu, als 2.Bike sozusagen.
Momentan ist eine Triumph Speed Triple meine 1. Wahl, ein perfektes Bike für die engen Passtrassen und Kurven in unserem Kurvenrevier. Es ist - bitte um Verzeihung - einfach nur geil, damit meine Runden zu drehen. Die Ausfahrten, die in meiner knappen Freizeit oft leider nur kurz ausfallen, sind für mich die beste Möglichkeit abzuschalten und dem Alltag zu entfliehen. Kurve für Kurve den Pass hinauf, dem Gipfel entgegen, am Ziel ankommen und kurz verweilen, die tolle Aussicht genießen. Biker-Herz, was willst du mehr?
Um mein Hobby mit meiner Berufung als Gastgeber zu vereinen, habe ich bereits 2009 unseren Stammbetrieb auf „bikerfriendly“ ausgerichtet. Mit der Übernahme des Hotel Vineus (ehem. Schneckenthalerhof) war für mich sofort klar, dass hier Motorradfahrer auch weiterhin ihr ideals Urlaubsquartier im Süden Südtirols haben sollen und werden.
