Winding roads take you from the Slovenian Alps across the gentle hills of the heartland to the Adriatic coast. The Alpine mountain ranges of the Julian Alps, Karavankas and Kamnik–Savinja Alps to the northwest offer tours that cover many altitude metres. The Mediterranean Sea awaits you in the southwest. And best of all: there is very little traffic on the routes and tours.
Although Slovenia is quite a small country, it still has a great deal to offer motorcyclists. Bled, Piran, Ljubljana, Ptuj, Lipica, Triglav, Soča Valley, Maribor, Brda – the list of sights goes on. And every place and every sight is unique.
The Slovenian Alps are definitely worth a visit! Mountain and pass roads alternate here with amazing panoramic routes in the hilly countryside. The Vršič Pass or the Mangart are just a couple of the many tour highlights.
