The Zillertal High Alpine Road across the Gerlos Pass leads into the neighbouring Salzburger Land and is known as one of the region’s highlights. But the “bottoms“ (Stilup Valley, Ziller Valley, Zemm Valley and the Tuxertal Valley) are also interesting - they may all be cul-de-sacs but they are not overcrowded and scenically beautiful and unique.
