The motorbike-loving boss is responsible for the active programme of the "boutique motorbike hotel" with only 23 rooms, and he knows the most beautiful motorbike, hiking and cycling tours in the Mühlviertel and Waldviertel like the back of his hand.
The qualified chef serves fine delicacies made from regional and seasonal ingredients in the evening. Roswitha, the boss, oversees the reception, the relaxation garden, the wellness area and the new heated outdoor pool, and makes sure that guests feel good all around. The small, family-run hotel at 1,000 m above sea level is also a good time-out address for all those who want to relax and recharge their batteries - for a delightful time for two on 2 wheels.

Dein Gas(t)geber
Bikerwirt Rocky, begeisterter Biker und Tourguide, ist mit seinen Gästen oft und gern zu den schönsten Plätzen Österreichs, im Mühl- und Waldviertel, bis nach Wien und Tschechien unterwegs. Geprüft als „MoHo-Tourguide“ kennt er die Bedürfnisse der unterschiedlichen Bikertypen und hält für jeden die ideale Tourenempfehlung bereit. Beim Zusammenstellen der Touren kommt er selber immer wieder ins Schwärmen.
Jährlich fährt er ca. zehn- bis zwölftausend Motorradkilometer. Für ihn ist es noch immer keine Routine, es macht ihm Spaß wie am ersten Tag. Erblich vorbelastet von seinem Vater, der selber mit dem Motorrad durch ganz Europa tourte, interessierte er sich schon als kleiner Junge für alles, womit man Kurven fahren und eine gewisse Geschwindigkeit erreichen kann. Sein Reiz am Motorradfahren sind das Kurvenfieber, dass Hochgefühl, dass sich beim Fahren entwickelt, die Freiheit auf zwei Rädern und das Naturerlebnis. Der Entdeckergeist erwacht, wenn er eine neue Strecke findet, die wieder ganz andere Aus- und Einblicke in die Gegend gewährt. Beim Endurofahren kommen Abenteuer, Fahrtechnik und ein gewisser sportlicher Aspekt noch dazu ... Vor Unfällen blieb er weitgehend verschont.
Steckbrief seiner Maschinen:
- 1990 mit 22 Jahren, die erste Maschine: eine Honda Dominator 500.
Ein ziemlich geiles Einsteigermodell, das ihn auch durch Südtirol und die Alpen trug. - 1991 stieg er auf die Africa Twin 750 um, mit der er auch die Pyrenäen bezwang.
- 1994 kam die Yamaha TDM 850 in die Garage.
- 2006 nach einem Motorschaden Umtausch in eine Yamaha TDM 900 TE
- 2006 parallel dazu die Yamaha 450 WR
- 2008 wurde Platz für die Husquarna 510 TE gemacht
